![]() Why? Because the "poisonous vapors" involved is cave-in dust. Its head is actually fractured apparently. Both its arms are fractured and cut open, same with its right leg. Its left hand is mangled beyond recognition. It has a pair of branching antennae and it appears to be emaciated, beware its poisons vapors! Its left foot is mangled beyond recognition. Lastly is Sodor an enormous humanoid composed of solid salt. I have it producing silk atm, but need to rebuild my silk farm a bit so it works properly. It isn't that dangerous if one manages to deal with the webs but it just kills dwarves freely if they can't move. Beware its webs! It's basically a silk-leech that casts extremely immobilizing webs and then sucks its victims dry. It has thin wings of streched skin and has a bloated body. Ebra was a bloated slug with feathered wings (I still have some of the feathers). Wiped a 20 dwarf fortress, minus one visitor who I had accidentally walled out in the 2nd cavern. Contrary to his name, he didn't have any auras. ![]() The FB that made this fort was Ebra Rusmosmunstu Zom Nol "the Fiend of Auras". My current fort had a few interesting ones I didn't play that one out fully once I realized what was going on. My very first cavern FB of any particular note was a creature I don't remember at all, but it had kitten rot as a syndrome. Forgot it's exact description, but I imagine it was basically this. plug up the exit to the cavern. My previous fort had a forgotten beast made of fire, not very tanky but had a nasty explosion. Why not re-takeOld Wallbones? The beast is dead. If I can't be either of those just throw me in the military. I want to be a dorf! pls make me a jeweller and/or doctor Just speak up, and be sure to mention job preference(s). The Gravity Blender will be completed and equipped with a stupid number of weapon traps, so we can finally fight back against the omnipresent goblin sieges.Īlso, since we're no longer on the ragged edge of disaster, I'm willing to re-accept requests for named/reincarnated dwarves. Right now I'm thinking of converting the old dining hall into the primary burial chamber- all the dead will finally be brought back to drink and feast where they did in life.Ħ) With all the internal problems now squared away, we will turn our vision outward. I think I can dig up a few more qualified recruits, however, and with the materials recovered from the Old Fort, I can get them properly equipped.ĥ) Convert Old Wallbones into a permanent, non-functional memorial. This may be difficult many of the fallen are in the hilariously unsecured cavern layer, and our military abilities are. I want to reverse this situation, primarily so we can recover the artifacts interred there.Ĥ) Attempt to recover the dead of Old Wallbones. Currently, the Hall is outside the secured area. Whats crazy is this forgotten beast Geden ended up killing all my dwarfs, whats hilarious is one of my dwarfs had a fey mood just fbefore he showed up, so the whole time hes destroying eerything and everyone he was still locked in a workshop. This needs to change.ģ) Add the old Hall of History into the secured perimeter. Thanks everyone for the tips and strategies, So i tried some cage traps and stone fall traps, but to no avail. We're sitting at around 50 dwarves, and we have beds in New Wallbones for less than half. In particular, we desperately need the seeds, wood, and metal stacked up there.Ģ) Build housing for all the new arrivals. A long-forgotten retracting bridge that offered another backdoor is still retracted, so we're pretty much in the clear now.ġ) Start pulling materials and furniture from Old Wallbones. ![]() Just FYI, I managed to seal off access to Old Wallbones' backdoor (off-screen). The dwarves are attacking the forgotten beast. This engraving depicts the defeat of Dirlu Oselgalel Edquek Ost by dwarves of Wallbones. There is an engraving of a forgotten beast here.
